Can you name some Native American tribes?
Taino, Arawak,(carribean) Navaho, Arapaho, Cherokee, Hopi, Dakota, Incan, Mayan( south american) Choctaw, Sioux, Chippewa, Apache, Lumbee, Blackfeet, Iroquois, Pueblo. Then there are Tribal Nations that have been denied recognition such as the Muwekma Ohlone[4] and the Miami tribe of Indiana.Maryland also has a non-recognized tribal nation 鈥?the Piscataway Indian Nation.

Reply:Well there's like 500 still in existence. Hard to believe since Native American are a numerical minority in their own country. Right off the top of my head I know Cherokee, Seminole, Hopi, Souix, Shawnee, Pueblo (don't know if that's the right term but a reference to the New Mexican/Coloradoan Indians), Navajo, and Creek. Right off the top my head. I've never heard of Taino Indians/Native American, could you email me info. about them.
