Does anyone knowgood native american names?
There is a great site that I listed below for Native American names. I liked:

Akecheta - means fighter - for a boy

Aleshanee - means she plays all the time - for a girl

Magena - means moon - girl

Taima - means thunder - boy
Reply:I don't have any suggestions, but I do reccommend looking over the following site before you pick a name. Apparently, it is considered offensive to use many names that will probably be suggested to you during your search. Good luck to you!

Reply:I'm not positive on many of them, but you could google 'native american baby names' and a bunch of baby name sites come up.

Best wishes to ya!
Reply:Make sure you read this web link that has a few words of warning before you chose a Native American name for your child.

You might choose a tribal variation for a name that is also common in English, for example:

Kateri (Mohawk for Katherine)

Meli (Cherokee for Mary)

Atian (Abenaki for Stephen)
Reply:Wanakee like the other person said is nice, so is Kaya. (Ky-a)
