It would be a grill kind of like a 'Five Guys Burger and Fries' or a 'Fuddruckers'. Indian-related names for the restaurant would be great, but any other names in general would be good.
I've been looking at some Native American vocabulary to find some ideas, but I'm not coming up with anything. Anybody have any ideas?
What would be some good names for a Native American (Indian) themed Grill/Burger Place?
Mustard's Last Stand
Sioux Me
Apache Heaven
Cree-me Fries 'n Shakes
Adobe Adobo Burgers
Toppings Ona-dawga
Reply:I would suggest you discuss your Idea with someone who is Native American. (They seem to not care to have their culture used in ways they see as unbecoming. remember all the name changes of college nicknames) All tribes have a tribal board. be sure. what you think is cute or clever really may be offensive to some.
Reply:well, what type of Native American? Cheynne? Cherokee, Potawatomie, Sioux? i'd find that out, then study their life, what was their main source of food, buffalo? or deer? then name it accordingly. or you could just take neat native american style names, like The White Buffalo, or Hungry Bear, or Feasting Hawk
but, yeah, i'd first decide on a tribe, then you'll get farther.
Reply:Have you heard of the famous MOUTH RESTAURANT? Or the EYE to EYE Cafe?
Why not name it something that actually grabs attention? Names that are easy to remember and 'brands' kinda easily.
Reply:What do Native Americans have to do with hamburgers? The theme is a stretch, especially considering that cattle and cattle ranches were part of the reason that Native Americans were put on Reservations.
Reply:Turquoise Grill or something else colorful, if you are very successful you can create a beautiful t-shirt and make some profits from those too
Reply:The White Bison, which is a sacred animal in American Indian culture.
