What would be a good name for a native american drum group?

we are a group of kids from 7-16 yrs old and we cant think of a name please help

What would be a good name for a native american drum group?
This is a question that would depend on your ancestry. I Often like to see Drum groups that are named so in their native language. Choose some symbol of what you'd like your drum group to stand for, what is the "message" that you want your drum to carry??

When you are asked to play for a ceremony, How do you want to be seen??

I would stay away from standard, stereotypical-Indian names....like those often used for sporting teams.

Choose an animal that empowers you - use a description of that animal to name your drum, and paint it upon your drum....let that animal help you then..

Make this about more than a cool name. Make it about life, destiny, hope, leadership, faith, love.....

I can suggest Lakota names, but know no other Native American languages....
Reply:Is it a Northern or Southern drum? Also, if everyone is from one particular nation, that would make it easier to choose something from your own culture. Otherwise, almost anything works. You could name it after an interstate, a town, a place, a person, whatever you like.

There's one from my particular nation called Those Cherokee Guys. Kid you not. It can pretty much be anything as long as it's G-rated and not offensive.

Hey, I'm obviously the only one on here who knows crap about this, don't give me a thumbs down.

Reply:Tribal Presence
Reply:Native drums.
Reply:Here is some from where I live, maybe you can adapt them to make them your own:

Counting Coop (pronounced coo)

Screaming Eagle

Bear Guts

Wocus Bay

Steiger Butte

Eagle Beak

Red Lodge Singers

What tribe are you from? That would help.

Something with the word Tribal in it would be awesome.

Or how about:

Red Power Singers

Tribal Thunder

Sacred Spirits

Savage Skins

Healing Heartbeat

Hope this helps! Good luck with your drum group!

EDIT: Oh and I'm Native by the way.

And that Young Feathers suggestion above is pretty cool too.
