ok my name is Moon Crow... but im cherokee and apache and i was wondering if itd be diffrent in apache and what is it in cherokee and apache as in the written language and how do i know for sure if its my real name? wado very much for whoever can answer
Now that I have a my Native American name can you help me figure something out?
I would ask who gave you this name and how well did this person know you? And did you go through a naming ceremony? And did he/she charge you for anything?
Though it may be "your" name at this time in your life, it may not be at a future time. Our names can change over the span of our lifetimes. They may change for various reasons.
I cannot tell you what your name in Apache might me but I can tell you what it is in Cherokee.
Moon = S v no yi e hi nv do (phonetically) can't put the cherokee font here because Yahoo doesn't support it.
Crow = go ga (sometimes seen as Ko ga)
When reading a Cherokee word written phonetically, remember these pronunciations:
A ( as in 鈥榝ather鈥?
E (an 鈥榓鈥?sound, as in 鈥榳ay鈥?
I (an 鈥榚鈥?sound, as in 鈥榖ee鈥?
O (as in 鈥榦h鈥?
U (as in 鈥榦oh鈥?
V (sounds like 鈥榰h鈥?
Ts makes a 鈥榡鈥?sound
Reply:No offense to Indian Jo, but the Apache are Apache, not Pueble. Two totally different nations.
Like Indian Jo said, look up the different languages and see what they say. Also, listen to your heart in this matter and you will know.
Reply:Go to their languages and translate
The apache will be Pueblo
waterspi Their Language..
But they were Navajo to start with kind of drawn out but read up on them
