Is surname quick an native american last name?my great grandmother last name was bennet from the lost colony.?

Sadly there is no such thing as a "Native American surname". Some natives, like African slaves, adopted or were forced to take European names, but these are still European not native names.

The name Quick could well have been one such adopted name but my research does not show any evidence for it.

I have to agree with Brother Ranulf. There is no specific "native american" surnames. Both Quick and Bennet sound English in origin and probably were ones adopted or anglicized .
Reply:The two answers above are correct, in Mohawk Culture. We didn't have last names, we were connected by clans. (eg, Wolf, Bear, Turtle) and those would be our relations.
