i am native american do u think it sounds out of place? im thinking of getting it changed

If you're worried about that "Iron Eyes Cody" guy, if anyone tries to pick comments at you about it there is no reason why you can't tell them "well at least *I'm* real" since that guy was a Italian phony.
Reply:I don't think that's a problem at all. Just because you have an English name doesn't mean that therefore your English and less of an Native American. But also you might embrace your culture a lot so having a Native American name might help you embrace your culture more. If that's so then do it if it will make you happy.
Reply:LOL I live in a town full of native americans, and that name is not very common , But who cares i know a arabic guy named "Randy" and an Arabic girl named Nancy not very common arabic names. But if you would like to change your name to feel better than i see nothing wrong with it! But giving yourself a certain name doesnt change where you come from and doesnt change your background!
Reply:Not proper it takes away from your Native American heratige, Change to trible name or ask to see books on trible leaders before you were born, keep it real, you have lost enough, i shoould say we but i have my trible name already and am keeping as much of my hereitage as can.
